Good adaptations:

First, Using hybrid cars, which is useful since the hybrid cars have no emissions of carbon dioxide and the implementation of those vehicles will make the cool city a much more environmental-friendly place and cool!

Second, Energy efficiency solutions, reduce the amount of pollution that cause global warming is to reduce the use of energy, Changing the lighting used in malls to fluorescent bulbs.

Last, Solar powered plant farms, this adaptation used for providing the plants with energy which came from a connection with a solar powered machine.

Bad Adaptations:

The cost!!, the cost of building cool cities is TOO high, & there's too much effort & time on building it. People will face some trouble to live in there because of the high cost & it'll be only for rich people, so.. whats the point of building carbon-free city ? or its all about money & by it u can reduce the carbon ? in a buissness point... it a FAILURE!

The water use in this city! , we are going to use an insane amount of water to just cooling this city & designing the city with waterfalls & such.. how's going to help the global warming issue?

Finally, some people may not want to change their currently life style and move to cool cities whcih's kind f weird complecated design & hardly can get along with this type of cities.

What's Carbon Footprint calculator?

Carbon footprint is a measurement of the effects of our activities on the environment. Specifically, it is a measure for the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouses gases which have increased due to human activities and caused the global warming problem. I did a carbon footprint survey at the website http://www.footprint.wwf.org.uk/ , and my carbon footprint result was 2.74 which was calculated by the website.

However, my footprint was 2.90. That was after the survey i did in the website which let me to choose some choices from each question & some how caculate my "Carbon footprint". well, i found that i have to Buy more seasonal food! , Walk instead of using other modes of transport ... whcih is only the car.. , Turn down the heating in rooms which you are not using and Avoid over-packaged products.

Anyway, my opinion of this website, specially after the sentence "Your living as if we had 2.90 plantes to support us. Although you are below the UK average, we obviously only have the one!", i got little excited, maybe because i don't do much of carbon in my dailies life.. but still, its ridiculus, i mean after i saw the choices in that website for its survey .. it was kinda stupid, because it ask about my food which its nessasary thing in our life.. who doesn't eat? it was kind of right when he asked about invronment friend tools like electrecity & such. but there's another question such the hours i traveld outside europe!! i don't live in euorpe & plus the time traveling in a plane it should atleas take about 15 or 14 hours in total conseder the the long way between my country & the country im going to. Finally... UAE got MORE carbon footprint than the US!!.. what the..!! well... nothing to say more...

An inconvenient truth - Evaluation

The movie An inconvenient truth by Al Gore was a very exciting documentary. Watching it was very enjoying and intersting. the presenter, Al Gore was really good. His timing and slide show presentation was really remarkable, he knew how to grab the attention of the audience when it came to showing charts and what kind of information would be suitable for them. He collect pictures, statistics, graphs and some funny videos, that made "Global Warming" a Fact that convince many people who were not aware of it or for those were not believe in it.

He said that all scientists agreed that the main cause of the global worming is greenhouse gasses. But a lot of scientists think that the cause of the global worming is the water vapor.I think that scientists still not sure about the main cause of this climate changes. But still we have to keep our earth clean and reduce the pollutions level by using renewable sources. However, he mentioned that U.S.A are the main reason for alot of damage to the invironment & causes alot of carbon that increase the golbal warming, & in the end, i mean today, the US still does nothing about or atleast something we heared about.. they only needs to change some devices & pulbs to make a change, but did they ? . Well... i don't think so & thats why it still An inconvenient truth to me. UAE that barly makes any pollution is working on global warming issue & doing things that other countries doesn't, why we do that ? maybe because we care or maybe there's another reason.. but still something better than nothing ya ?. They insest on us to wrok on global issue while we are not the reason, even writing this comments in our blog kind of an insisting & working on somthing we didn't cuase, only a little... :P

Finally, i think this movie should be release again in a different version, about what the changes from the US itself from the release of An inconvenient truth 'till today & shows what the changes they calim that they did.

An Inconvenient truth - summary

In the movie "An Inconvenient Truth”, released in 2006, Al Gore, Theformer presidential candidate , shows a documentary movie about "globalwarming". He collected his information's by traveling around the world to letthe people know what are the risks of this problem is. He talks about howpeople are the reason to increase the danger of this issue; he also suggestedsome solution for it and how it affected his life in many different ways. AlGore says that his son and sister are the main reason why he became moreinterested in global warming issue.

There are many problems connected to global warming. One problem is ecosystem is changing quickly. Another issue is that the Co2 concentrations were found too high when scientists measured ice samples in glaciers. A further problem is that the oceans are warmer than the past. A final difficulty is that glaciers started melting which means coastal areas are flooding.

Al Gore shows several solutions to help reduce the catastrophic effects of global warming. One solution is to reduce the carbon dioxide levels and also implementing the process of planting more vegetation in order for them to consume more carbon dioxide. More efficient use of Electricity, appliances and other renewable sources and higher mileage cars are also mentioned. These easy & small solutions can really affect the global warming, its only needs some individual & group works to make it happen in no time. Change the way of thinking in several things we use & do in our daily life can make a big difference in this issue.

At the end, Gore states that global warming effects can be reversed by planting more vegetation to consume CO2 and reducing CO2 emissions. Furthermore he encourages the viewers to learn how to help to save the world. Also It is everybody’s problem because all of us live on this planet. We should take action immediately if we wanted to protect our loved ones.
